I have always suspected the Big Grey Man myth to be wild imagination but still, it’s a fascinating legend to have in those parts. Never saw or heard anything though and never really got a sense of anything out of the ordinary there. Many times myself I’ve stomped around the Cairngorms, from Rothiemurchus forest, through the Lairig Ghru and up to ol’ Ben Macdui itself.
